Safari extension
For Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The tap you meant, the place you meant — not a leftover street number.
Free. No ads. iOS 18, iPadOS 18, or macOS 15.
01
On supported Google Search pages, tap Directions, the address, the map thumbnail, or a local result card. Safari to Maps opens the place in Apple Maps, or a route with that place as the destination.
02
On an ordinary webpage, a clear Google Maps place or route link is enough. One Google redirect is unwrapped and checked again. Other links stay as they are.
03
Pages are not scanned for addresses. Phone numbers, websites, and plain text stay untouched. If evidence is thin, Apple Maps still opens a useful query — without claiming the exact shop was matched.

A Google Maps link on a test page, and an Apple Park Google Search. Opening the page is not a pass — tap something.
The Google Maps app can take the tap via universal links. Re-check the extension and website access, then retry. You do not need to uninstall Google Maps.
Work happens on the device. No extra account. Nothing is collected. Free, with no ads.
Not for
Not Waze. Not Chrome. Not Messages. Not a scanner that turns every street address on a page into a link. Not a rescue tool inside the Google Maps website. Safari only.
